Pope Saint Friend.

Struggle as I have in the last few years, I have always known goodness. The quality of true and genuine people, and how distance can’t diminish what really lives.

This morning is for Sigur Ros. OH MAN, it’s been a few days for sure. I remember when my entire world was consumed with them, and many blogs have been written under their influence. Saeglopur has got to be one of the most beautiful songs in my world, expecially today.

Yesterday afternoon marked a turning point for me. One that I’m not sure I want to go back on, or that I’m even sorry for. I am hoping that the universe does what it wants with this one.

On another note, I am sharing some art from my (incredibly talented) friend Victor. We know each other from the Starbucks days of Gunbarrell Road, and it never ceases to amaze me how huge of a family I have because of that job. People can turn up their nose all they want, but some of the greatest people I have ever known have been Starbucks kids. “Only a pretentious hipster would call someone a pretentious hipster.”

This weekend is going to be a full-on Friend Fest:)
