“I prefer the pavements themselves to the places they lead me to. I like to travel upside down and live inside my head and inside my own world. After all. My world is going to be my world for the rest of my life, and nobody sees things the same way as the next person. Weird though, sometimes I wish they could. That’s why I photograph. Because I think there’s something more behind everything out there, behind every person. It’s a self defeating dream because as soon as everyone sees the same thing there’s nothing left to imagine, and nothing left to photograph. But we’ll see.”
